Hello all and welcome to My Page. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for stopping in and listening. I love feedback good or bad and would love to hear your opinion. Now....down to buisness. About me. Well.....I hail from a small town in North Florida and have been here my whole life. I love the close community we share and the closeness it brings. I am from a very large musical family and for as long as I can remember back....singing has been a part of me. I can remember when I was a little girl and I would sit on the floor and watch my dad play his guitar and sing like nobody's buisness and I would just stare in awe. He simply amazed me with his talent. Now.....I know every little girl thinks her daddy is the best at what he does but.....My daddy really is a wizard with that guitar. And his voice was so pure and true that I knew right then that I wanted that. Although I have only been playing the guitar for about four years, the singing.....comes from my soul and bleeds thru every song I write. And these days my dad still plays that guitar, and his voice is still so sweet it will break your heart to hear it, but I hope he looks at me and is seeing his legacy. My mother has been my best friend and the rock I lean on since I was old enought to say "Mom". She always brings me light when I am sad and is never afraid to show me that I am humble. I look at her and pray every day that I have her strength and determination. That I will see my dreams to fruition and know she has always and will always be one step behind me in all I do. I will always know that even thought she eagerly awaits that next phone call telling her I wrote another song, If I decided tomorrow that I don't really want to be famous (yeah, right!), she would still be right behind me no matter what. I am happily married to a wonderful husband who has held my heart for years. He has supported me so patiently thru loads of unwashed dishes and unfinished houswork because I wanted to stop and fiddle with my guitar lol. It is so fantastic to have a soul mate who understands your dreams and is willing to go the distance with you. There have been times when I would lose a contest and be so disheartened, and he would hold me and say to me "baby, no matter what they say, you will always be number one to me." He will never know how much that means to me. I am so proud to be his wife and with every breath I take I dedicate my next one to him. We have two children who are VERY energetic and sometimes...I think they sit and plot out ways to drive mommy to distraction lol....and I honestly wouldn't have it any other way. Now I am faced with having some mighty big shoes to fill and am determined to step up to the challenge. I am trying hard to stake my claim in the country music industry and am willing to pay my Dues to get there. ...
